Last month, I was delighted to attend the official opening of the Sixth Senedd, which would have normally taken place after the election in May but was understandably delayed as a result of Covid restrictions.
On Tuesday October 12th, Powys County Council’s cabinet approved the change to Machynlleth's Ysgol Bro Hyddgen’s language category from dual stream to Welsh Medium.

Responding to Powys County Council's decision to publish a statutory notice to change Ysgol Bro Hyddgen, Machynlleth, from a dual-stream school to a Welsh-medium school, elected representatives Russell George MS and Craig Williams MP have urged Powys County Council to re-consider their proposals
It is a huge privilege to have been re-elected for a third term as the Member of the Welsh Parliament for our area. I would like to thank the people of Montgomeryshire for returning me with a significantly increased majority.
