Support for Newtown charity event to open new bypass

The opening of the Newtown bypass should involve a charity event according to Russell George, the AM for Montgomeryshire.


The AM says that people have suggested ideas, such as a charity run, or another type of event.

The ambition to develop an Active Travel network for pedestrians and cyclists in Newtown, which takes advantage of the opportunity that the Newtown bypass will create for the town, was raised with the First Minister last week by local AM, Russell George.
