The Assembly Member for Montgomeryshire, Russell George, has joined Alzheimer’s Society Cymru and Boots UK at an event to recognise and celebrate the work of Boots staff in supporting the Dementia Friends movement, and to help bring more awareness and understanding to this condition. 

Russell George AM visits local optometrist

Montgomeryshire AM, Russell George, has visited a local optometric practice in Newtown, Evans and Jones, to learn more about the work of the practice and to encourage residents to have regular eye examinations.

£300 million Emergency Care Hospital gets the go ahead

Today’s announcement (Wednesday 28th March) by the UK Government's Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, that capital investment of up to £312 million will be allocated to fund the building of a new Emergency Care Centre has been welcomed by Montgomeryshire Assembly Member, Russell George.

New Water Company for Montgomeryshire approved
